An HVAC website has one job: turn a homeowner's search into a call, text or email. The way most contractor sites fail is slow and quiet. A rebate closes and the page still promises it. A new efficiency standard arrives and the specifications are out of date. We build websites with a structure that makes those updates easy, a dedicated page for every job you want, and contact options one tap away on every phone.
What it is
The short answer: a fast, clear contractor website with a built-in way to keep facts current.
Each site has service pages for the work you do, area pages for where you do it, a program and news section with dated entries, and a simple trust section covering licences, registrations and reviews. Every factual claim that can change, such as a rebate amount or a rating standard, is written with a date and a source, so updating it is a short task instead of a redesign.
Who it's for
- Contractors whose site is more than a few years old, slow on phones, or hard to update.
- Companies adding a new line of work, such as heat pumps, boilers or commercial service.
- Firms whose site still quotes pre-2026 SEER figures, a point we covered in our story on Amendment 18 and SEER2.
- Owners who want to own their site outright rather than rent a template.
What's included
- Discovery. Your services, service area, average job values and where calls come from today.
- Site plan. A page for each core service and main community, plus program pages and a dated news section.
- Writing. Plain, specific copy for each page, with answer-first openings and real local detail.
- Build. Fast mobile pages, clear navigation, and call, text and email buttons on every page.
- Trust content. Licences, registrations, warranties you actually offer, and review highlights, presented honestly.
- Tracking. Call and click tracking so you can see which pages produce contacts.
- Hosting and maintenance. Updates, security and the ongoing content changes that keep facts current.
Packages and timeline
From the HVAC.Agency price list (CAD, plus GST/HST by province for Canadian clients):
- Essential, $3,500: a custom site of 5 to 7 pages, built in 2 to 3 weeks, then $149 a month for hosting and upkeep.
- Professional, $6,500: 10 to 15 pages designed around conversion, built in 3 to 4 weeks, then $249 a month including conversion-rate work.
- Enterprise, $12,500: as many pages and locations as you need, built in 4 to 6 weeks, then $449 a month for full management.
Most single-location residential contractors fit Essential or Professional. Multi-location companies and firms with several service lines usually need Enterprise.
How results are measured
We measure calls, texts and emails from the site, the pages they started on, and how quickly pages load on phones. A worked example: if your current site gets 1,200 visits a month and 1.5% contact you, that's 18 contacts. Raise that to 3% with clearer pages and faster load times, and the same traffic produces 36. At a 40% booking rate and $1,000 average gross profit, that is about $7,200 more gross profit a month without a single extra visitor.
Our founder has built 150+ live HVAC websites. Among our HVAC clients, Roma Heating & Cooling recorded 400% organic traffic growth in 12 months.
Mistakes to avoid
- Undated rebate claims. Every program mention needs an "as of" date and a link.
- One page for all services. Homeowners and Google both want a page per job.
- Stock photos posing as your team. Use real photos of your people and work, or none.
- Hiding the phone number. Put it in the header of each page and in a fixed bar on phones.
- Building on a platform you don't control. Make sure you own the domain and can move the site.

Frequently asked questions
How long does a new HVAC website take?
The Essential package takes 2–3 weeks, Professional 3–4 weeks, and Enterprise 4–6 weeks, according to the HVAC.Agency price list. Timing also depends on how quickly you review drafts.
Who owns the website?
You do. Ownership of the site, domain and accounts is confirmed in writing in your proposal.
Can you work with our existing website?
Often, yes. If the platform is sound, we may restructure and rewrite rather than rebuild. We'll tell you which makes more sense after the free audit.
Do you add a contact form?
We focus on one-tap call, text and email, which suit how homeowners contact HVAC companies. What your site includes is agreed in your proposal.
